ABOUT US

Neslihan Ozdemir

Having grown up in multi-cultural Istanbul with a family background in hospitality, Neslihan moved to London in 2000 to further her education. Inspired by her interest for dance and movement, she began to practice yoga and Pilates whilst completing her studies.

Informed by her great passion for helping people and motivated by back injury, Neslihan attended the 3 year full time Pilates Foundation teacher training programme, embracing this life-changing technique both personally and professionally.

Uniquely grounded by her personal experience of recovery through Pilates, Neslihan has continued to nurture and develop her holistic and hands on approach to teaching since 2008. As well as teaching clients, Neslihan also trains specialists in movement therapy and lectures in professional development workshops. She works closely with several specialists in Harley Street, where she creates corrective rehabilitation programmes.

Her philosophy is grounded in the belief that every individual has specific needs and goals, so the teaching method and exercises must be tailored accordingly. Neslihan’s focused, caring and bespoke approach has earned her an extremely loyal client base with ages ranging from 13-83.

The ethos and philosophy of the Pilates Tonic Studio is a reflection of Neslihan’s conviction that she can make a real contribution to the well-being of her clients through greater mind-body connection that Pilates can achieve. It is through a wealth of personal experience, strengthened by a passion for helping people, that Neslihan has developed her structured Pilates exercise regime which will enhance your body’s natural ability to move and heal, helping you to live better.
